my sketch challenge #9

Here is this weeks sketch For my sample card I have used a pink with chocolate spots backing paper from funky fairy`s.
the image is a from whiff of joy , I coloured with my polychrome pencils

Wallet tutorial

I was asked on crafters companion forum how I made my wallet card.
I was going to make another so did this tutorial, I think pictures are much easier to understand than written text

Then decorate front to your own tastes and designs, the fan that I have used on the front of mine is one of Joanies sheets, you can see a link to her blog in my side bar

My Sketch challenge #8

This weeks Sketch challenge had a little extra twist, this week they had to make a wallet using the sketch

I used two shades of green card, the lime one I embossed using my cuttlebug, The ribbon had some shades of blue, so I decided to add this colour to the rest of the card.

the image is one of my new Sarah Kay stamps, coloured with Faber castell polyhcromos pencils, i love these pencils they blend so easily.

The letters came from a crafters companion CD

inside the wallet I the contrasting lime green card to make the base of my wallet, this one I am using for some of my pre stamped images, that I have done myself when i get my stampin stuff out I like to do a few things at the same time ,and also images received from swaps

Magnolia or Stampavie,

The Challenge over on Magnolia & Stampavie was to create a card using the colours above or as near to them as possible

I have been dying to try out my new stamps, just got a nice order of 6 stamps delivered, couldn't decide what to get so got them all, (naught but nice for me)

The backing Paper comes from flora doodles download, the stamp is fanny`s cuddle. ( I hope fanny is the puppy, not a nice name for such a pretty girl)
