End of Year Dare

This was this weeks Challenge on the DMC Site.

Hi All. Today we have decided to revisit your most favourite dares of 2007. The four top dares, decided by the number of comments you made on them are (in no particular order): 'buttons', 'ribbons', ...'and cut' and 'frames'. We would like you to use this week as many of those dares as you like to make your card in any theme and any style.

I have used both Ribbon and buttons with some hand cutting to make the frame for the topper.
The image I found on google, I then used my 3D cardbuilder2 to make the backing paper, Everything was matted and layered onto Pink and gold card before sticking onto a cream base card

Di Hickman Sketch Challenge 26.12.07

After the Christmas rush I am trying to get back into my craft challenges, and keeping up with my blog postings,

So here is my attempt at this weeks Di Hickman sketch,

The paper is from a scrapbooking pad that I was given during the year, I have also been using it on the box below,

The embellishments are from a tin of K & CO chipboard, tags and words.They have lovely bright funky colours

Side view, I love this ribbon, It was in a bargain box at Tesco,
The box opened at last, The photos were taken at the evening party after my nieces wedding last July, They are of my Husband and I daughter and two sons

More layers

I have enjoyed making this box, i hope to make a few more in the future.

My brother has his 60th Birthday party in a few weeks, I think it might be a nice idea to take lots of photos on the night and make a box as a reminder
