Hanging Angel number 2

Here is my second hanging Angel.
This one will hang in my granddaughter Perrie's bedroom.
For her hair I used Alpaca wool it comes in natural colours and feels so soft to touch.
I hand sewed it to her head so it looks like a mass of curls

Tilda Doll number 2

Here she is my Tilda doll number 2.
Such fun making these dolls adding all the little finishing touches that bring these dolls to life.

Again she has 3 layers of lace trimmed skirts,  the top layer I shaped the front edges added lace and closed it at the front with 3 pink pearl beads.
I also knitted her a little teddy for her to cuddle and  attached  it to her hand

I put a lace belt around the waist and let it flow down the back, I also added another 3 pearl beads at the back .

You can see how cute it looks in these photos.

For her hair I crocheted a little wig using Alpaca wool,  I then addded extra threads to each side until I had enough to style into two long platted bunches.

She is also wearing some cute denim lace up boots

This doll is going to my granddaughter Perrie.
Im sure this won't be the last tilda doll I make,  im getting a little addiction for them.
Thanks for looking.
Please leave a comment,  I enjoy your feedback

Tilda Doll

Im here to show you my first Tilda Doll, I have named her Bella

Here is a view of how she looks from the back, I think her lace trim looks lovely floating down the back of her skirt, and her tidy hair do.
In the above photos you can see the details of her waist,  I have added pretty lace, some pearls to hitch up her dress on the one side, this let's you see the pretty polka dot skirt layer underneath.
I also made a crochet draw string bag for her to hold.
How she looks from the side with her pretty ribbon and side swept hair do.

Her cute boots match the bodice on her dress,  these I trimmed in lace  but might still add some laces up the front,

Here you can see how the dress looks slightly hooked uo showing off the underneath dress layers.
I really enjoyed making this doll, doing all the hand sewn lace trims that really made her come to life.
She has tiny seed beads for eyes and the Tilda Doll blushed cheeks

Quilts and wall Hanging, moda lexington

My first project using Appliqué.
The fabric is a moda layer cakes lexington , just love the colours in this range.

Really enjoyed the Appliqué,  will definitely be using it again

I also used the lexington layer cake for this quilt,  The photos dont do it justice.
The flash is stopping the paler patterns from showing up in the photo,  but i can assure you they look beautiful up close to the quilt

Fun with fabric yoyo, s

Sitting  watching tv hand sewing these little darlings ready for the frame was such fun.
To make just cut a circle twice the size of your finished yoyo,  sew large gathering stitches around the edge,  draw tight pulling the fabric into the centre before fastening off.
You can add buttons or flowers into the centre to pretty them up even more

Then I used a hot glue gun to stick to a plain wooden frame, simple but b
Very effective
