Ribbon Box
Here Is my Ribbon Box,
One of the girls on the crafters companion Site had made One, I had never seen them before and thought it was a great idea.
I already had a nice cream and yellow box from one of my silver wedding gifts, It was ideal for this project.
I cut some holes in the side using some knitting needles, I used some super glue to stick on some washers from my husbands tool box, On both sides of the holes to help the ribbon slide through easily.
The lid had lots of writting over it, So I covered it with some matching scrapbooking paper, some nice Peel offs and letters to spell out Ribbon.
Then the fun bit , Filling it with all my nice ribbon, I also made a section in the middle with two pieces of card, this I have used for ribbon that was already wrapped around card.
I am very pleased with the finished box, so thought I would share it with you

DCM Challenge
The brief for this weeks card is
Hide & Seek
I'd like you to make a card which has a hidden component of some sort. The hidden part could be a tag, a concealed photo, message or something along those lines, maybe a pull-out or pop-up.Anything goes as long as there's something extra for the recipient to find on your card that's not immediately visible when they open the envelope.
Its a bit late due to work but I got it done in the end

DCM Challenge
This weeks brief from Daring Cardmaker
I want you to create not just one but TWO cards ! But wait........there's more ! I want both cards to contain the same embellishments and papers, ribbons etc- but arranged in a different way for a different occasion....the only thing being different is the wording....
Card 1
Decoupage image and paper were from my Cupcake crafting Petals CD.
I cut a card front in half added an Acetate front, Then I added the decoupage to some silver mirri card, And covered half of the jacket front, edged with peeloffs in silver, Finished with a Happy Birthday topper
Card 2
Using the same Decoupage Image, Papers and Peeloffs, I folded the card in half, added the backing paper after punching a lace border, Mounted the decoupage onto the mirri card, This time I Added it as a centre panel
