Altered Frame

I was looking after my Daughters two cats last week and took these photos of them, that I used to make this digital scrapbook layout.
The ginger cat  is Andrew and the grey is William
I then got a plain wood A4 frame that cost 90p, added some scrap book papers, sticking them down with Mod Podge.
I then lightly brushed some more over the top and sprinkled lightly with glamour dust.
The hearts were cut using a Martha Stewart punch, Some of the flowers were cut on my Cricuit the others are Prima and from wild orchid

Tag Card

Over On Crafters Companion forum every Wednesday evening we have a live craft.
One of the girls gives use step by step instructions and photos of each step as we go along, until we have a finished card.
At the start we have a list of the ingredients we will need for the project, but we dont know what it will be until we start to make it and it starts taking shape.
Its great fun and we post chat as we craft.
This was the card that Ellen gave us the steps to make last night.
I was late arriving so joined in with the chat and got started on my card this morning, so a bit of a cheat as i already new what the finished card would look like.
If you would like to follow the steps to make this card you can see them HERE
just get the ingredients ready and scroll down to find each step, as you see we chat a lot its a wonder we get the card done
I also made a matching envelope to go with my card.
The papers and topper are again printed  from My Craft Studio CDs.
and they are the same set as I used on the A4 card in my last post.
Just look how different the same designs can look after a bit of a play at resizing in the MCS program

Here is a close up view of the insert and the tags that sit in the front of the card

Thank you card

The staff at the school my Sister-in-law works in did a collection for her 60th Birthday
They gave her a beautiful watch and quite a bit of cash so that she could treat herself to something.
She asked me to make a thank you card for them all
I d id not have much time as I only had under an hour notice before it needed to be done, so she could take it into work with her.
So I used My Crafts Studio and their Petals art work and came up with this card.
Its A 4 in size I matted the backing paper onto Gold mirri card than did the same for the topper.
while it was all still in MCS I added the wording Thank you to the topper before printing out,
Then I printed a matching insert.
the light is not very good here today and I could not get a good photo of the centre of the card.
I pleased with the way it turned out not bad for a card in a hurry

Its really simple to do just print , cut and assemble together , i will be making some flowers to add to the finished card before it goes to a little blonde haired girl who just loves butterflies.
I also love the matching envelope

60th Birthday Card

This Card is for my Sister in laws 60th Birthday

The images are all from Joanna Sheens  Thomas Kinkade CD, I just love all the images that are on this CD they print out nice and bright, want to use then all.
SIL loves Roses so these were just shouting to go on the front.
I printed one rose out then flipped the image for the other side, Then these were matted on to gold mirri card
Took another couple of images from the CD for the inside of the card,

The one side I cut out the centre part of it in my pc graphics program , Coloured it green to match the base card, then I typed in the greeting before printing

Free ATC Backs

I have been having a little play this morning.
I needed some pretty ATC  backs for some swaps over on crafter companion forum and I came up with these.
If anyone would like to take them for your own use just click on the photo to enlarge and then save to your PC.
I print them out onto the thickest card that will go through my printer, and then they are ready to add decoration to the front.
Please could you link back to my blog for others to use
