Sketch challenge #19

Here is this weeks Sketch, An extra bit of a challenge for me because when I came to make the sample card this morning I did not like my Sketch very much( I did it a few weeks ago) I was going to leave it and move onto my next sketch but then decided to go for it, as more of a challenge to myself Well here is my sample card and I must admit to liking the end result, the papers are from Anna Griffin, the image came from some free docraft sticker that were in last months magazine

as you can see I have taken the papers into the centre of the card, just added a few extra stickers

Wedding Card

This card was made for my nephews Wedding on Saturday. You may remember that I posted photos of the wedding stationary set that I made for them a few weeks back, You will find a link to that posting Here I have used my keepsake board for the heart shape, the papers and image are from Fee J designs

As you can see I have taken the Bride image onto the second page, the photo below I simply embossed the smaller Heart and added some peel offs, this is the back of the card

Printed the rose insert onto card cut out the centre blank piece, put in some acetate and used this sheet to make the box lid

My Sketch challenge 18

Here is this weeks sketch, as you can see there is a little instruction on what you have to do with your stamped image The papers are scrap booking papers found in my left over box.

The image is from cuddly buddly, I just stamped extra images onto scrap card and paper then cut out to make the clothing, face and body coloured with pro markers

Stephs Word book

Made this book for my future daughter in laws 18th birthday tomorrow, using a download from funky hands for the book, and images from crafters companion flower fairies CD for the front cover I just added a flower from the CD with a happy birthday banner.

the next page I have taken a decoupage flower from the same CD and layered it up with a small tag added to the page also

this time I decoupaged one of the fairy`s and glittered her wings and dress, I also added a butterfly and some prima flowers

This stamp is from sugar Nellie's, coloured with pencils and distressed the edges, more flowers from stash and another with love tag

This topper is an ATC sent to me by one of the girls on the crafters companion forum, it was just right for this card, another flower and banner

Blog Candy

Just looking though some of the blog that I visit regularly when I came across this posting about blog candy. on funky fairys blog
It does make you think, I myself have wondered how blogger can afford to give away so much blog candy, and the expense of it all.
Is it just to get the blog ratings up, or to reward your regular readers.
worth reading I think.

My Sketch challenge 17

This is the first bit of crafting that I have done since coming back from holidays, been a bit busy with work
For this weeks sketch I have also added an image to be used on your card however you like, but it must be seen somewhere on the card.

love this image found it on the web ages ago, so thought i would give it to the girls to play with on this weeks sketch

As you can see in this photo, I have taken the image and stretched it a bit to make two panels, this I then matted onto some mirri card, before adding to some black gloss card stock.

The topper was also an image that I found on google a long time ago, I added this to the same mirri card, put a small ribbon on the bottom edge, and decoupaged each ladies panel

as for the inside I have kept it simple just enlarged the topper image added to mirri card and put as a strip along the bottom inside.
