Well the little man was due last week and still no sign of him arriving.
We are all off out for a Birthday Meal tonight ,I hope he does not decide to arrive in the middle of it.
Emma said she is finishing her meal no matter what.
Marie over at simply me has done a fab tutorial on how to make this book card, you can find it
The topper comes from crafter`s companion popcorn CD along with the backing papers , I have also used a few backing papers from Bearly mine
I bought Emma a Yankee Candles Tart burner, so filled the box up with some different scented tart
Here we have a close up of the front , the flowers are from Wild orchid crafts.

Christmas Gift Box Tutorial

Every Wednesday Over on Crafter Companion Forum at about 7.30pm we have a live craft event.
The members follow the on-screen step by step instruction to make a craft item,.
Best thing is we don't know what we are making.
Last week Karen did the tutorial and the girls made this little folded box,
Well I just had to have a go myself, It is so easy thanks to Karen`s great instructions and step by step photos.
I used Crafter`s Companion Humphrey s Christmas CD to print the box and toppers.
I just needed to add some glitter and some pretty ribbon as finishing touches

Here is a close up of the Decoupage all glittered up.
This box, its so easy to make using 2 A4 sheets of printed card stock.

Well I searched Karens blog for a tutorial on how to do it so that I could give you all a link.
And here it is

New Baby Card

This is the card that I have made ready for my Grandsons arrival.
He is due today, but looks like he is going to keep us waiting a few more days.

The top photo is of the box all closed up with the card inside

This is the front of the card, all the images and backing papers are from Crafters Companion Humphrey's Corner CDs
These two photos show the the card open
In the photo below you can see the first two sections, I had to take the toppers into another graphic program to change the sizes a little, but this is very easy to do with CC CDs
Here we have the next two sections of the card, I do love the high chair and crib toppers so much

In these two photos you can see the back four panels/
I have also added a few bows and flowers to finish each panel off
In the bottom photo you can see how the card looks open from above
This last photo is the back of the card, this was where I chose to put our message
Pam has done a great tutorial on how to make this card you can see it on her blog here along with a few others
Thank you Pam

I though it would be fun to do something different from a card

My image has been coloured with spectrum noir pens, and the sentiment and bats came from a Craft Artist digi kit.
they were the perfect thing for this project
So pop on over to the Stamp n doodle blog and have a play along you dont have to use a Stamp n doodle digi but get two entries into the competition if you do.

With Halloween just around the corner. I was looking for some nice Halloween themed images,I just love this image from the Stamp fairy, as soon as I saw him I just had to get him, I wonder what he is brewing in the cauldron of his.
I have coloured him with Spectrum Noir and a few pro markers.
The bubbles from his pot and the stars on his hat have been glittered with glamour dust.
The background is fron a digi kit that has been on my PC for ages so not sure where I got it from sorry
Just a quick close up of the image.
This will be on the mantelpiece along with another project that I have done for  Stamp n Doodles DT ready for next weeks challenge
