SBS24 sketch challenge

This weeks challenge for my SBS24 group was to make a card using this sketch The papers came from pink petticoats, the image is Willow from whiff of Joy a gift from a friend.I coloured my image using Marvy pens, I ran a scrap of backing paper through my cuttle bug loaded with one of my nestabilites ovals to make the frame, On the edge of the card I punched 5 holes and threaded Ribbon through

My sketch challenge 30

Here is this weeks sketch, I cant believe we are at no 30, A nice simple sketch for this week.

For my sample card I used some denim effect scrap booking papers, the flowers were a bargain from the What shop they had a large packet in lots of colours.
They do some great craft items at value prices.

SBS 24 None card challenge

I am a few weeks behind with this challenge, but I am sure you all understand.
This challenge was to make a none card item, So I have made this folder to keep some of my notes and envelopes ready for some of the swaps that I take part In
The papers come from some of my Crafters companion CD, I also used some aplha stamps to stamp My note papers

A need to say goodbye

sitting here at 2 am unable to sleep, I feel the need to say goodbye to my dear brother Malcolm.
who passed away this morning, you fought so hard to stay with us, Rest in peace until I can see you again, I know you are in a better place and will be watching over me, I don't know what I am going to do with out my big brother, I will miss our chatsThis photo was taken last weekend at the hospital, Our great nieces had just come back from a week in Disney Paris, they came to see him dressed as Minnie mouse. My niece took this photo for him to keep by his bed, He kept telling me how cute they both looked, It made his day and cheered him up

It is both my mums and mum-in-laws Birthday this weekend.
My daughter had some photos done the other week, she sent some home for her grans, I told her to keep them as they would make a nice birthday gift.
The papers came from pink petticoats, It was just a black and white patterned paper, but I printed onto coloured card stock.
The photos are held in by slits in the card, so easy to slip out and frame if they wish

The sentiment topper was printed out in word, then matted onto pale blue card

1st Blog Anniversary

Well here I am at my first Blog Anniversary, Who would of thought that on that first posting I would still be doing this a year later.
I must admit to enjoying bolgging very much, I was not sure on where the bog would go, and if I would be able to keep up with my postings.
I also enjoy reading other bloggers blogs.
So here is looking forward to the next year.
