Christine`s Paper bag Mini Album

I have made this Album for a dear crafting friend, she is not to well at the moment so I made this to cheer her up   I Also sent her some lunch bags in case she wants to make one herself ,she has enough to make two mini albums

This is the front cover, I cut the little frame on the my cricut using an SVG file from Penny Duncan, I cut four of the frames then stuck them together to give a chipboard effect, the flower was also done on the cricut, this one I designed myself by having a little play with some shapes, i inked the edges and scrunched the flowers up before joining all the layers together with a pearl brad

For the next page I cut out her her sons name RYAN on the cricut glittered it up a bit with glamour dust, I also added some buttons to the side edge, for the smaller page I added some contrasting paper cut a tag on the bug and slipped this in the pocket

The next  pages I have left quite simple, I have cut a scroll corner edge again using one of Penny's files, this  can be used to slip in a photo of Ryan or some journalling mats,

these two pages are just covered in backing paper, I have left them plain so Christine can add her own photos , mats and embellishments

This is Sophie`s pages again her name has been cut and glittered and I have added some girly flowers to the corners, I have made a tag for the smaller page, it just slips into a paper band

Again on the other side I have added a corner to catch the photo edges ,and a large flower on the small page

Each of the edges of the Album have pockets , I have made some pull out mats ready for Photos or journaling to be added to by Christine, I have put some of the papers I have used onto the edges,

Here is the revers side of the mat shown above, again edged with pattern papers

For this one I added a blue ribbon and a matching blue flower.

Here is the back with a punched border

This time I made a mat in blue card and added two of the scroll corners photos can just be slipped inside, a few blue flowers to finish

I have added some lined papers to the back to journal on, rubbed an ink pad around the edges coloured a white flower with the same ink pad and added a cream one to the centre held together with a brad

ripped the edges of patter papers then layered up some flowers, only the one edge of the flower is stuck down so Christine can pop a photo edge underneath

This is the back to the one above done the same way but with different flowers

I have tied lots of different threads to the book rings, I have also added some beads to twine and also added a little made with love heart.

crafters companion DT card

Here is my DT card or this weeks challenge over on crafters companion blog, we had a sketch to follow and we were asked to use 3 papers, brad,buttons or pearls and one flower we also had the option to add a secret tag

The papers are from the very first Crafters companion CD that I bought all those years ago Florals set 1.

I  cut out the scallop edge mats on my cricut, coloured the magnolia image with some pro markers( you don't have to use all crafters companion product on your entries, but it would be nice to see something)

the flower came from eBay

Here you can see my hidden tag, I have stamped greeting from SU and added some bright threads

I have taken the same papers into the inside of the card, the mat was also cut on my cricut

Mini Brag Album

This brag album is 4x4 and is made out of White DL envelopes

 

The papers are all from My minds Eye magnolia stack.

I covered both sides of the envelopes with different papers

I cut out the word BRAG 4 times on my Cricut, stuck all the layers together to look like chip board, I then went over the top with 3D lacquer

This plaque was done on the PC using MY CRAFT STUDIO and taking the oval shape and images of the booties from some of their CD`s, I have quite a few so not sure what ones I used, I have them loaded on the PC and just jump from one to another.

As you can see I have added some photos of Keaton, cut out a little from this is also from MCS

Then in each of the four pockets I have made little pull out mats and added a photo to both sides

Here you can see how it all folds out, but still nice and small just right for carrying around in your handbag

To Finish it all off I added some book rings tied lots of thread, ribbon and a hand made by heart charm to the book rings as you can see in the first photo.
not a hundred percent pleased with this one, there are things I would do different I used white envelopes and don't like how they look when pulling out the tabs, so watch this space, I have already bought some more brown envelopes for the next one

Mini Recipe Album

This is the front cover of my Slimming world recipe mini Album, All the papers and embellishments for the Album came from creative sunshine capsule collection.

It was all in the goody bag from do crafts for £14.99 got mine from the range

I covered two 6x6 inch chip board with paper from the collection , the butterflies were cut out of the left over papers using Svg files from Penny Duncan, I also used one of her files for the frame, I then added a few of the Sunshine flowers, and a bow from the sunshine ribbons set

Then i took some more of the papers and added them to the next pages, on these pages I made some pockets out of the papers so that i could slip my tags with the recipes written onto them inside, I added some more of the ribbon, cut some flowers  of the papers on my cricut out again the SVG files came fro Penny Duncan, also added some buttons from the goody bag onto the ribbon, I also stamped an just for you from stamping up punched this out using one of the scallop punches and put on the page

punched a border out of card and made another pocket added this to the bottom of the page, making another pocket put in a tag, Added some more butterflies

Made two more pockets out of the papers Added Gems from the goody bag also did a bit of tearing on the other side and added another tag, the tags are also SVG files from Penny

another pocket for tags added to the side, with yet another butterfly, The next page is quite plain with just the papers and ribbon edge finished of with a flower and brad, Yes from the same bag of goody's

again for these pages you can see more ribbon, double  pockets, tags and flowers

as I was making up each page I went around the edges with ink pads in shades of brown and orange, I also used the same pads to distress the Tags.

I then added some book rings and put lots of thread, Ribbon, beads and a charm.

I still have some pages to make and lots of papers and embellishments left to use up
