WOYWW

Well I am back in my craft room after all the work that has been done on the house, been away for six weeks, with just the odd pop in to do some DT cards.
So I have joined in WOYWW if you don't know what this is where have you been, we all like a good nosy at other work spaces so HERE is the place to go look.
Well not much I had to give the whole craft room a good clean on Sunday to get rid of the buliders dust, so just a few cards that I have been working on this week and a cute fairy that I am going to colour in soon.

 This is the view fron the other side of the room, it has my PC desk and something to play with that has just been delivered this morning, opps and a empty wine glass from last might

 What is in the box, its my bargain of the week a full set of flippin men and flippin women stamp, Imagenation has a great offer on buy the one set and get the other free HERE

The other photo is two pieces of work top that will soon be put up in my craft roomm where the PC desk is now, going to give the room a coat of paint to freshen it up a bit

Boy Racer

 Over on Project Tuesdays blog we have been asked to make an Easel card, well this is one of my favourite style cards and so easy to make so I just had to join in, I have chosen to use another Digi image from Just Inklined this one is a free for a limited period and you can get Albert HERE along with Renie she is in racing along in a post below.

 I have coloured Albert with Promarkers and distressed inks,I  wanted to keep the card quite simple and make the image the main focal point, the card is from SU and the papers came from papermainia Blueberry Hill collection

so just simple sentiments Albert has customised his walker like the old Mod bikes with all the mirrors and you can see by his face he still has it and will pull all the old birds.

Renie & Scrappy

After seeing this image of Renie and Scrappy, I just had to buy it and make a card straight away, it sure made me smile this afternoon.
You can get it from HERE and so many other cute designs want them all.

 I use distressed inks to colour the image, a Martha Stewart punch , backing papers are from papermainia.
The mat is from a Penny Duncan nesting cut file for the cricuit

 For the insert I use Bearly mine crafts inserts Extreme Cd and added the text in MCS

Back in our own house

As you know I have not been able to get much crafting done, The house has been a building site for the last 6 weeks, but we moved back in last night after spending the weekend cleaning all the building dust away.
We are still waiting for some of the doors to go in the kitchen, half of them were out of stock when we ordered and we have to wait a month for delivery, we still need to wait about another 10 day until they arrive, but I thought I would show you some before and after photos

This was an out house storage room, our kitchen was so small we had to keep the fridge freezer in here, it did have wall covering butthey had been stripped ready for builder to knock out the wall behind the fridge, it leads into the kitchen

This is how it all looked after two walls were taken down the storage room has been knocked into the old coal house and kitchen, The dust from this was in all my rooms

 Here is how it looks now The coal house has had a new wall and been turned into a wet room (photos later) The kitchen now goes into the Hall the door to the wet room has been added near the front door, the top bit is where the washing machine and tumble drier is , we have a cupboard to store the Dyson out of sit, also holds a mop and bucket, next to the machines.

 This is how the one side looks up to the back door, as you see it still needs the kitchen doors, but is still usable for now.

 her is how it looks going around the other side from kitchen door, across the sink and the star is my new range cooker ( I love it) next to the range with the tea towel is a new my first dish washer( hubby said NO we did not need one) but why not spoil myself ,so I over ruled him

Here is the wet room that we had put in for mum, she is unable to go up stairs, so this makes it easier for us all.

We have some work top left over so guess where that is going?
Yup into my craft room, I am going to give it a lick of paint and add some more work surfaces, so my cuttle bug and cutters can stay out ready for use ,so I will show you when I get it all done

The image for this card came from MCS Deco Follies CD, The papers and Wrap choc buttons came from Craftwork cards, flowers from Wild orchid ribbon from my stash and punched leaves

 For the inside of the card I printed and insert from a bearly mine CD called Inserts Extreme  I added the wording in MCS

  Here is a close up of the flowers, just sprayed a bit of glimmer mist and glamor dust to give a bit of sparkle.
