Keatons Christening book

This is a little book that I have made for Keaton's Christening this Saturday.
I found the instructions for how to do this little book HERE, scroll down to albums and it is the Joy fold book.
The papers are from Joanna Sheen's Baby Love CD , I printed them onto pearlescent card. The front title I cut on my Cricut
This is a little verse that I printed on the PC to go inside the front flap.

Here are the centre pages with two hidden flaps

I printed a small topper from JS CD and added the church and date each side, then stuck inside the first flap

for the second flap I put a photo of Keaton, laughing as usual

Just thought I would share with you some new photos of my 4 month old grandson Keaton.
Here he is in his walker, not going anywhere in it yet as his little feet just about touch the floor, but he does love to be in it and grab at all his toys on the tray. Here is his posh photo they have just had a two big canvases done, i know I am a bit over proud Nannie here, but he does look handsome, adorable, cuddly etc

lIve crafting

Last night over on Crafters Companion Forum we had another Live Crafting Event and made cute Cupcake cards, Here are all the instructions, with photos

Step 1
Print and cut out pattern pieces
Fold A4 base card in half, place bottom piece onto fold and cut out like in photos.

Step 2
Take corrugated card or striped paper and cut out the pattern again,
Take your ribbon and lay across your base card then stick cut out pieces to front of card, tie and trim ribbon as in photo, I have done both styles card and paper.
You could also cut a piece out for the back if you like, I have not done so for the demo

Step 3
If you have a embossing machine, emboss your A5 card, you can use the same folder for all 3 pieces or, use 3 different folders.
Cut out layer 1 stick double sided tape to the back of this piece near the bottom wavy edge, and stick onto you’re base card like in photo, I have taken a photo of the back to help you see where to stick

Step 4
Do the same for the next two layers, cutting out your pieces from your coloured card and building them up on top of each other, see photos again I have shown the back as a guide.
You could add a bit more decoration to the finished cup card by adding glitter, snow etc.
These cupcake cards can be made in any size just by shrinking down the pattern before printing out.

Here is the finished Cupcards

Here is a closer look at the embossing and decorating
