I`ve been tagged by Anne, There are five questions to answer.
So here goes
1. If you could have 100.00 worth of scrapbook paper or assorted embellishments, which would you choose?
It would have to be the Embellishments, I have lots of Scrabooking papers that i just hate to cut up, ( I tend to look at them and put them back safe) I always seem to print papers from my collections of CDs, Then i can always print some more
2. If you had to choose between using only stamps or rubons, which would you choose?
This would have to be stamps, I think you can get more from a stamp eg change colours, Embosse it, glitter it,Etc.
3. If you knew how to do both awesome cards and layouts but could only do one for a whole year...which would you do?
Love making cards but it would have to be layouts,I would love more time to do scrapbooking, also i get to keep all the lovely layouts that i make, Scrapbooking is a very personal and special way to record all those lovely memories.
4. Would you rather own a scrapbooking store or have your own scrapping room at home...(can't have both he he he)
A store, to play with all the nice goodies, also to be able to have a large stash of crafting stuff away from home.
Plus it would be great to run scrapbooking crops and meet lots of crafting buddies.
5. And last but not least, what is your CURRENT cardmaking or scrapping style.....
My style at the moment is Busy, I like to put as many diffrent papers ,embellishments and layers on as i can. I have to say to myself " Wendy thats enough you will ruin it, less is more".
I think that is why I like the bookatrix board, you can really pull out all the stops with those cards..
I now have to tag five others, this will be hard as most of the bloggers i know have been tagged already.

Daring Cardmakers Friday Challenge
This weeks Challenge was to use some ribbon on your card, I Enjoyed this one so much I have made Two , I have lots of ribbon and love to use it on most anything
The Card above is a parchment card, I like to use ribbon to attach the parchment paper to my cards, I find glue or double sided tape can some times show through, ribbon gives a nicer effect than using brads to attach the design
The second card I have used a brass stencil, I have dry embossed then coloured using chalks.
A corner punch and lemon gingham ribbon to finish( my mum liked this one and has just pinched it for her friends birthday later this week)

Daring Cardmaker Midweek Challenge
This is my attempt at Daring Cardmakers midweek challenge.
The designs are from Daisy Company, I have shrunk them down using my graphic`s package, Then I decoupage them on to the card, I have also used some Glitter glue around the edges

The Brief was this
It's ages since we gave you a sketch to play with so that's what we've got for you this timeYou can use the sketch any way you like, just as long as we can still see it in there somewhere - so stretch it or shrink it or do whatever else you can to make use of it.

Arty Challenge

I have been a bit busy this week, getting the front room decorated. All finished so I can get back to my challenges , crafting and posting on my blog.
This is my Arty girl challenge, the brief was this.
This weeks challenge is Circles/Dots/Spots ~ Anything goes as long as its round ;) so all you have to do is to incorporate something round on your project.
I have been killing two birds with one stone, as the saying goes and getting some of my Christmas cards done using this challenge.
I have used docraft papers for the background, The toppers are from my Carol Anne Christmas CD

Daring Cardmaker Challenge
This is my first attempt at a Daring Cardmaker Challenge. It was to make a post card and to send it through the post, As it has to be posted i have not 3D any of the images, I have kept them flat in the hope that they will not get knocked off in the post.
I have printed out all the elements, and cut them out to stick down onto the post card.
All the images came from digital scrapbook place, It is one of my favourite scrapbooking sources.
I have put a link on the right.
I did enjoy this challenge and look forward to doing some more

Monday 1st October, Day 1
Well just did my profile I might change it at a later datea as the information changes
I am married to Jeff, We have 3 children, a daughter and two sons.
We were blessed with our first grandchild Keaton on the 1st june 2009 and another one is on the way due in October.
I have been crafting most of my life, knitting, sewing, cross stitching ,etc, but over the last 5 years paper crafting has taken over. I mean it has, one small box has turned into a whole bedroom for a craft room ( well you just NEED it) ROFL
I love card making , scrap booking and digi scrap booking , Our grandson is my favourite subject to scrap.
I have also recently caught the bug for jewellery making.
My passion is for Parchment crafting, but just don`t seem to find the time to do as much as I would like, I have a long list of to do patterns when I retire.
You can usually find me in my craft room, I enjoy paying along with blog challenges , also chatting and swapping with the girls on the Crafters Companion forum.
Thanks for joining me in this addiction of mine.
