This weeks Challenge

I have just compleated another sample card for the challenge below, this time all the papers came from pink petticoats
For a change This week I have set the girls on Crafters companion forum an inspirational challenge.
I have given them these two photos to work from this week, They are to make a card or item taking inspiration from what they see, they can just choose to do only one item using the photo they like most or to use both photos and make two items

Here is my sample card, I have used some of my Joanna sheen Cd's for the backing paper and topper, She has some lovely backing papers that look like satin sheets, I printed a pink one then took the other into my graphic programme and changed the colour to peach, I also printed out a nice floral paper to match in, This card is for my son and girlfriend they got engaged three weeks ago, This is the first chance I have had to make them a card

So Congratulations Kyle and Leah, looking forward to your Party in the new year.

  2. Hey Wendy! :)

Thanks for your kinds words of encouragement on my blog... you are right...not the best of times, but "this too shall pass"...sure makes the good times seem even better, huh!?

I had to laugh when I saw this card today...it is GORGEOUS!!!...but my gal pals at work and that I stamp and scrapbook with, re-name things. Okay, I rename them and then suck them into my web of weirdness and eventually hear them saying it too...such as Target is Tar shay..Jc Penney's is Jacque Pennay, Kroger's is K-Rogers and so on and so forth...I call Tres Chic.. the way that it looks TRES CHICK...so you unknowingly brought both a smile to my face and a hearty laugh as well...I am easily amused, but you know I needed a good laugh barring the last few months that I have had...some days I wish you lived in the states, so I could just hug you...so here's sending some long distance *HUGS* to you, my new blog sister... you have done my heart a world of good! :)

    Love ya...Shannon
