SBS 24 challenge little Angels
For my SBS 24 group this weeks challenge was to make Hanuka or Christmas cards.
I still need a few Christmas card So I have chosen this one for the challenge
All the papers and toppers from this card Came from Joanna Sheens Baby love CD.
I just love everything about this CD , Lovely images and some stunning background papers, this one is one of my favorite on the Cd, Love it As you can see I have chosen to use the same card fold as in the previous cards,( I told you I am addicted to this style) This time I added a little bit of bronze glitter to my backing paper, I then mounted the toppers onto some gold Mirri card.
Then I put some gold ribbon on the side panel, before adding the smaller topper

Vintage Santa
Well as you can see I am loving this style of card At the moment, its a great way to get a larger card without having to go to the extra expense of buying A3 card The images and backing papers came from cardmaking Ideas, I just love this Santa.
Folded some A4 card just some simple matting and layering a bit of gold Ribbon , I also made a border strip Using one of my Fiskars punches.
Nice and easy to do but a lovely result, Looks much better up close

Front door Christmas Card
Not sure if I like this card, I had the idea to make a front opening larger card, But not to happy with the finished result The decoupage is one of Jonnies free sheets, You will find a link to Jonnies blog on my side bar.
I layered the card up using small bits of Glitter on the Trees and wreath.
I then mounted this card to a larger gold card that i had embossed using my glitter girls board
Here Is what is hidden inside the front door card, a decoupage fireplace with a cute basket of puppies. I would like to think they already lived there and are keeping warm and not a Christmas present

My sketch challenge 34
Here Is this weeks Sketch challenge, We had a break from the Sketch challenge last week, Our Crafters companion Forum was up graded to a new look Forum.
So everyone was a bit lost and trying to find out how everything worked, some members had problems logging onto site, So I decided to give the sketches a miss for a week.
For this Sketch i have done a simple layout for the mats of backing papers.
The twist come in as they have to make a Tag of some sorts to add to the finished card

For the card Base I used a lime green card and Lilac backing papers(not showing up as bright in photo) The papers all came from Pink petticoats.
For the tag To colour the base I dabbed a mauve ink pad over, I then wound some lilac raffia around the tag, Made two lemon and lilac flowers with matching centres , And just added a metal butterfly to finish off
