I made a pretty little Easel card last week using the paint box poppet's CD
Well another friend saw and liked this card ,so asked me if I would make a special one for his wife's birthday early next month, here favourite colours are shades of blue.
here is what I have come up with
This is the front of the box that I made using crafter`s companion boxer board .
I printed off an insert to add to the front and prettied it up with a few gems and of course Pam's name
This is what she will see when she opens the box, because of the design of the card, it does not leave a space that I was happy with for Dave to write on.
So I printed another insert onto card stock, with a message and Dave can sign his name or add to it if he wishes
When she removes the sentiment card she will see this, now you will think the image is all wrong, but if yiu look at the photo below all is right when the easel stands up
I used crafter`s Companions paintbox poppets CD, for the image and backing papers.
I also used core-dinations card for me base card
I found a really nice verses on the web just right for Dave to give to Pam, printed it in my Studio software and did a print and cut on Ellis-May AKA my Silhouette Cameo
A few more close ups of the card, I also used my favourite Martha Stewart punch for the stopper strip
A few close ups of the flowers these are fro wild orchid, they have been glittered with glamour dust, I also punched out a few leaves to tuck behind the flowers
I sure hope he likes what I have come up with, I will be taking the card to him on Tuesday, so will let you know what he thinks of it.
thanks for stopping by, I love to read your comments
