First jewllery projects

OK my beginners kit came, still need to get a good selection of beads, but it has all the tools, beading mat and board and an instruction book with detailed instructions that are easy to follow, so I am very pleased with it.
I also had a little play today

Here are some shades of brown beads that I have had for my card making, I bought some memory wire, followed the instructions in my beginners book and this is what I made
                                                                          Here it is on

So not to bad for a first attempt, I made a few mistakes finishing the ends, but it will be easier next time.
Them I wanted to have ago at ea rings, so used some of the beads and findings from the kit followed some instructions on you tube and here they are

Tried to photo them dangling but a bit hard in this light, so not a great picture
well let me know what you think, I will have to visit some bead shops to stock up on my stash, cant wait to try new techniques

  1. I bet you can't wait to hit the bead shops either. They are like Pringles you can't just have one set of beads, you have to have them all. The bracelet and earring are fab. I love the chunkiness of the bracelet. Are the beads made of wood or stone? :-) xx
