Well its Wednesday again and today is whats on your workdesk day, pop over to Julia's blog HERE to join in the fun or just to have a good old nosey at other crafters work spaces.
Well last week I told you that I was about to strip the room to repaint and organise, well its done and finished and I have a very long posting HERE for those that would like to have a look at the end result.
well here is my workdesk today and it has been taken over by hubby, he is building a model bike, its full of parts and paint and I have to craft over on the other side, but he wont be there for long, I will soon move him out, even though its nice to have him working on it while I am crafting, that's until i want something over on that desk and he is in the way LOL
A close up of the bike, its a Repsol Honda.
Thanks for looking and i will be popimng over to have a nose at your workdesks
Oh I know the feeling hun, my hubby builds clipper ship replicas and we share a small craft desk!

That's a cool bike but my DH won't be seeing it incase he gets any ideas about taking over my space!
ReplyDeleteLucky he's not working on a full size 1 Wendy could just imagine my OH stripping down his Honda CBA 1000 in here i'd kill him

ReplyDeleteAt least it was only a model bike eh Wendy, otherwise you wouldn't be able to get in the new craft room ;-) Love the new craft room (had a look at the post) very organised.

ReplyDeletehow kind of you to share, bike looks very cool thanks for the look see
ReplyDeleteGreat desk ... the last model I made was Anne Boleyn I think ... I may be showing my age now it was rather a long time ago!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely crafting space, love the pink chair and the letters you have cut out for your wall. Looks very organised. Tracy Evans x
ReplyDeleteLove your space and Hubbies motorbike too!
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeletelovely craft space,oh just had a look your craftroom looks gorgeous, lots lovely space, have great day,sue
I think a model bike is a good thing - a real bike is going to take up too much room!! What if he decides he'll do this a lot because he likes your company while you're both crafting - oh no, a new desk!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely desk and how lucky is your hubby that you are prepared to share your desk. I'm glad I don't have to share mine with anyone.
ReplyDeleteThe bike looks great by the way.
I did take a double take when I saw your desk until I read that it was model parts lol ...great that you can share a space.
ReplyDeleteNice that your hubby is into crafting too. And I couldn't resist to take a look at that looooong post and it looks AMAZING!! All that storage place, it's just so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
** Evi **
see they moan about the spending and the crafting till they need the space or to borrow your tools lol... glad you get to spend time together even if it means he is occasionally in the way lol
ReplyDeleteHa ha, you should see my mum & dad's loft space it is a LARGE loft space covering the whole bungalow & it is rammed full of models of my dads. Most half made & he's had for donkey's years!! He does military modelling, thats where I get the half finished crafting gene from lol!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the snoop x
That is a lovely work area and you must be the best wife in the world allowing your husband to share your space.....not sure if I would be so generous lol:)
ReplyDeleteoh great desk hun my hubbie would just love that bike its just awesome, hugs cheryl xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat space and lovely to share... occasionally! :-)
ReplyDeleteOMG lol - my hubby is a modeller to so I knew right away what I was looking at! Hm, maybe I should scare everyone next week and post a piccy of HIS workspace - that truely is one unholy mess.
ReplyDeleteoh yes...memories of motor-bike engines on the kitchen table are now coming back to me!! 'Stick' to the toy, smaller, nicer, cleaner....no oil! Fab crafty room!!
ReplyDelete(Lyn)
Fortunately my messy area is only for me, my husband has banana fingers an has no interest in crafting whatever!
ReplyDeleteNice bike!
Chrissie
Hi Wendy Like them both you can get the same effect with either The copics go on a lot smoother take some getting used to the brush tip at first especially if your heavy handed i seem to use the copics more now even though i've got more of a colour range in the pro's
ReplyDeleteOooh you are good sharing your desk - I now share my craft room with my OH three days a week as it doubles up as an office but I do moan!! Hope your ATG gun turned up, once you get used to it you will wonder how you ever crafted without it!
ReplyDeletenice bike project! and i would be happy to share my work space but only once in a while! loved the look of your newly organized space (that carousel is my favorite!)
ReplyDeleteI read before I looked at the pic and half expected to see a lot of oily rags about :-)
ReplyDeleteA x
Did he have your permission? Love your new space and your carousel is like mine (but yours is cleaner and less cluttered)
ReplyDeletesorry this is a bit late, phew thank goodness the motorbike is a model lol. you have a lovely room and it looks so tidy...will it stay like that.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend
Tracey
Too funny. I thought these were doll parts you were hanging to dry. I guess I have doll bodies on the brain. Maybe I need a brain (grin). What can I say? Happy belated WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteyou are generous sharing your space with DH... I would have kicked him out of the way and had a play with the Honda meself though.. I used to build those, along with all other Airfix stuff when I was a kid...ah, first steps into crafting perhaps lOL
ReplyDeleteWell, I think building models is sort of fun...my son is hooked on bionicals and I always sort of take those over. I bet you sort of a little want to put that bad boy together! It's fun!
