Last Christmas card

This is my last card for this Year and its for my Hubby Jeff.
I have taken another image from the Joanna sheens Thomas Kinkade CD, Had great fun adding lots of glitter to the rooftops and snow on the ground, Matted all the layers onto gold card and added a few gems to each corner
For the inside of the card, I took one of the shaped cards images, I made this up and again added lots of glitter, before matting it onto some more gold card and popping it into the middle of the card

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great Christmas and New Year

Snow Days

Woke up this Morning To see fresh snow on the floor , It did look so pretty.
Only thing is the snow does not want to stop all, the local roads are gridlocked.
Mum was rushed to hospital yesterday with a minor stroke, We tried to go visit today but had to turn around the traffic was going nowhere, it took us 45 minutes to get back to out house from where we decided to turn  back , At normal times it would take less than 5 minutes
Here is the view of our back garden, summer house does look pretty

This is the view at the front, the cars that have gone down our street are skidding about
So I have had a play in the craft room, and made these Angels from a cutting file found HERE
still need to add some thin ribbon but need to get out to the local shops to stock up on some, and not in any rush to drive in this weather, so they will have to wait

Art Deco Christmas Easels

Two more Easel Christmas Cards , the images came from Debbi Moore CD, I just love anything to do with Art Deco, and these CDs are such fun to work with love all the stunning images, As you can see I have again been using Penny Duncan's Pointsetta  SVG files cut out on my cricut
Just a close up of the flowers they have been sprayed with cosmic shimmers
This is the second Card again using an image from the same sheet, this time I trimmed around the back edges to give it more detail
Again there are some more of Penny's flowers and if you look at the image you can see where I have glittered up the dress and the decorations on the tree.

Christmas Slipper

Enjoyed Making the Elegant shoe in the post below so I  had the idea to make a Christmas slipper
The Papers are again from Papermania , Kept the decoration simple this time, just added a little bit of glitter around the back edges.
Some pretty lace to the front with red gems for a bit of bling, I then added a tiny bow to the top of the bauble on the front of the slipper and another gem at the toe tip.
This slipper is going to sit on top of a wrapped present that I have gotten for my niece for Christmas with some red ribbon and bows as decoration.
Template and instructions are in the post below
Thanks for looking

Shadow Box

Been wanting to make one of these for awhile, the lovely Verse is from Penny Duncan check out her blog for some more of her cut files, .
Thank You Penny
I took the the wording into my scrapbook program and added the flowers to frame the words, I then printed out two copies one for a background and the other for my decoupage, the other flowers I did by punching out 6 scallop circles wetting and scrunching them up, popped a brad in the centre scrunched up around the brad and arranged each layer into a flower shape.

Then of course each flower was glimmer misted and glittered, I also added some glitter to the decoupage flowers

First clock

This is my first attempt at making a clock, Not sure if I am happy with it, the next one I will change things a bit and make the images bigger.
You all know the feeing when you do something and it does not feel right and you cant put your finger on it
One of the girls loved it and has taken it off to her house, so it cant be that bad.
I enjoyed doing it and have a few ideas for some more, I have 4 clock mechanisms to use up.
thanks for looking

Another Frame

I took a cheap frame from from a bargain shop cost £2

Then I added some SU scrapbook paper using Mod podge to stick it onto the frame and I also added a coat over the top.
Then for the large flowers I used an SU scallop punch, I punched out 6 shapes popped a brad in the centre, spray misted each layer until damp and squeezed up tightly into the centre, gave it all a tight squeeze then opened each layers gently to get my flower shapes.
The small roses were cut on a cricut shaped and glued together
