Well this week has just flown by, and its time to show you whats on my work desk this Wednesday.
pop over to stamping ground to see other crafters work desks, go on we all like a good nose
Well what can you see this morning, to start with i have all my scoring boards and trimmer piled on top of each other, so many scissors, do i really need to have them all out at the same time, i have been guilty of just piling stuff onto the little shelf at the back so i should give it a bit of a sort out.
the blue bottle is full of water i have been spraying flowers with it
been having a play at different techniques for making paper flowers, I am liking the soaking them with water and scrunching them up technique at the moment.
I have also been busy making a paper bag mini album, still has a lot to do on it, but I will show you when its all finished
this is what the shelf looks like next to my work desk, another bit of sorting is needed here, been pulling out sticklers and glimmer mists to use on my mini and not putting them back in their right place also getting quite a lot of scraps that I just cant trow away , but will most probably never use, even a large sponge that I pinched from the bathroom to cut a piece of to dab inks on to colour the edges of the mini is still just pushed onto the shelf, how naughty of me.
Thanks for stopping by
Quite organised though Wendy - and lovely and colourful looking! I expect if you rummaged hard enough in my cupboards, you could find a sponge with a snipped off corner! Look forward to that paper bag album's reveal!
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy
ReplyDeleteEverybody is on the go early today, desk is very neat love what you are working on, I have only tried one so far spraying and scrunching sounds nice, a crafter can never have enough scissors, mine is usually buried below paper.

Thank you for the comment on my blog. I am not sure what I am going to do with the Maya Road coasters. I like your flowers and always intend to have a go at making some grunge ones which I would probably use on my coasters with some Wendy Vechi stamps etc but somehow I get caught up in other things instead of flowers, not enough hours in the day LOL.

ReplyDeleteLooks pretty neat to me! Love those flowers.
ReplyDeleteooh scrunchy flowers are FUN - you should try using glimmer mist instead of water - gives your flowers some sparkle too!!! how many pairs of scissors do you need out at one time??? LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteLoving your flowers,I've never put paper flowers in water...but have once watered silk ones...they did look real!

I can never throw away scraps either ....or anything else ...just in case there is a use for it. Love the flowers
ReplyDeleteWhat a great work area! Love the flowers too, I really must get around to trying some hand made ones. You know, part of the reason I keep my area so tidy is that tidy stuff takes up much less room on the shelf... therefore I have room for more stash! The wedding stationery turned out great, lots of work there, but also lots of love I suspect.

Thanks for sharing your workspace with us. Scissors, yes you need loads because when one pairs goies missing amongst the stash you can easily find another lying about!
