Sketch challenge 13

A nice simple sketch for this weeks challenge

All the papers for this weeks card came from Anna Griffin, I coloured the image with faber castell polychromo pencils, and went around the edge with some distressed ink

I then took the papes in to the centre and swiched them around to follow on from the cover, the large centre mat was done on my PC.

This is my First card using Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit CD

I have printed off one of the decoupage sheets and layers it up using foam tape, I them printed out one of the backing sheets from another messy design, I love the reeds in the corner on this paper.
I wanted to keep this card nice and simple

Sugar Nellie

Another one of the lovely Sugar Nellie stamps that I got from last weeks NEC craft show, this card was for my future Daughter-in- laws 19th yesterday

The Papers are again from the barely mine CD, I have coloured the image with my Pro markers,

the flowers , ribbon brads were from my stash

As you can see I have taken the outside decoration into the centre of the card, the wording and mat were all done on the Pc

My Sketch Challenge #12

For this weeks sketch I have added an image to use on your card, it says to place it on the circle, but I have changed my mind you can use the image wherever you like on your card.
You can see what the other girls on crafters companion forum come up with HERE this is the image you can crop it ,fade it or turn into your own backing paper, I will leave it up to you

For my sample card I have used Delicious scraps for my backing papers, there is a link to this great blog in my side bar,

As you can see I have taken the image and papers into the centre of my card, I really enjoy doing this, its also a good way to use up all those left over bit, it also looks very pretty, I used to love to decorate the outside of the card and hated making and printing inserts, this ways much more fun

mOthersday Card 2

Here is card #2 not to sure if I like this one, you know when you have an idea, then when you look at the finished card, you think to yourself, well that didn't work out so well, this is how i feel about this card, I wish i had just kept to the green and neutral tones and not added the pink background papers. well it tooooo late now. Again these lovely papers were printed from the same CD as yesterdays card, there are so many lovely designs on this CD, i take ages choosing what to use, Another Sugar Nellie stamp bought at the NEC

Again I have taken the design Into the middle pages, this time cutting the image out with a scallop punch
